Microstructure

The microstructure of wear-resistant composite steelplate is composed ofeutectic carburizing body, alloy ma-rtensite and residual austenite matrix, on which a largenumber of highly wear-resistant carbides are uniformlydistributed.The hardness of carbides can reach HV1700which is the skeleton of high wear-resistant structure.The optimal combination of the matrix and the hard anti-abrasion pointenables the material to be with excellentwear resistance.lts microstructure is shown in the fgurebelow.

Surface cracks

The surface of the wear-resistant composite steel platewear layer releases stress by forming small even cracks. Bykeeping the surface of the whole board fat and limitingstress concentration,the cracks are limited to the hardlayer.lt will not spread to the very tough substrate in theprocess of use.

Hardness

The rockwell hardness reaches 58-62HRC, micro hardness 1300-1750HV. The hard particles of chromium carbideare fat, large,numerous and evenly distributed.

Working conditions

Abrasion-resistant composite steel plate can be used in conditions below 590℃ with high scour and abrasive wear. It has good wear resistant, impact resistance and good oxidation resistance. The tensile and imapct reesistance of wear-resistant composite steel plate is not lower that of Q235 steel palte welded joints.
